Beautiful Weather | Lone Pine Photography

Today is sooo incredibly beautiful outside.  It’s cool enough that it’s a hard decision between wearing pants and shorts or shoes and flip flops in Savannah.  The azaleas are in full bloom and my neighbors are all appreciative of the work done on my front yard flower beds.  It’s a little brisk in the shade, but warm in the sun.  Beautiful.  And it’s that magical time of the year, Crawfish Season.  I might have to go get some…

Cajun boiled crawfish, mushrooms, small boiled potatoes, and boiled corn. Tastes wonderful!

Right now in Lone Pine, someone that just got off work (or that didn’t go to work at all), is likely riding in a flat bottomed boat in the bayou under the guise of running their lines.  Someone else is likely riding trails on a 4wheeler just to see what’s changed or different from yesterday.  I’m sure there’s at least one farmer riding the perimeter of his land checking to see whether the hogs are moving and whether they’ll be a factor in his crops this year.  And there’s likely a crowd of guys standing in my brother’s driveway with drinks in hand talking about all manner of things, but just visiting in general.  Picking on each other, and making a little fun.  Maybe talking about what their wives made for supper last night, or will be making tonight.  Except for Buster, who is undoubtedly listening closely to see who he’s going to go visit at supper time…

Enjoy your day, wherever you are.  I hope you got to spend some of it outside enjoying this beautiful weather…
